Another Mystery Finish

For several years now, I've been designing a mystery quilt as a fundraiser for the Westside Quilters Guild in Hillsboro, Oregon. Our 7th Annual Mystery Workshop will be held on October 28th. I finished up quilting one of the quilts this week, but since I can't share the quilt I thought I'd share my fabric choices. I've been working toward my designs being very friendly for charity, throw, or twin-size quilts. This one finishes at 64'' x 81''.

Here are my choices for quilt #1. Focal = red; yellow= pop; blue = frame; cream = background.

This is for quilt #2. Background = grey; pop = green; focal = fishing print; frame = black.

Version #3 will have a background that shines with solid or tone-on-tone playmates. This is going to be one fun class! I can't wait to see what everyone makes.

  1. Hi,
Those look like fun fabrics! I really love the grey with the green pop for color. Too bad I'm so far away or I would love to join in your workshop. ~smile~ Roseanne

    1. Our daughter lives in Iowa... maybe we can get together and sew then!

  2. Can't wait !
I already picked my fabric and have it cut and labeled. Hope I get signed up okay and not put on a wait list. I chose a large scale black/white/grey print, pop is a pretty blue, frame dark grey and background white. All from stash 😉

  3. Hello, this pieces look lie great fabric designs. I should be looking forward to picking my fabric and get it labled as soon a possible. Keep it up!

  4. We have made a rundown of the best paper composing administrations so as to make it clear for you which administrations were the best and most reliable a year ago.
