My Mojo is BACK!!

Thunder Over Louisville event
It's kind of ironic that I give a lecture on how to get your quilt mojo back and mine had thoroughly disappeared. I tried all of my tricks, but just wasn't feeling it. Mind you, I have been sewing, just without enthusiasm.

I traveled most of the month of April -- Oregon, Washington, Iowa, Kentucky, Indiana and Missouri. Every place I went I met enthusiastic, genuine, giving quilters. I also found an abundance of inspiration in unexpected places.

Does anyone else see a quilt here?! This was at the Louisville Slugger Museum.
A visit to Whittle Fabrics and the National Quilt Museum in Kentucky brought it all home. I am ready to sew in a BIG way! I have several new designs in the works that I won't be able to share, a second book coming out this fall that I'll be able to share soon, and a couple of quilts from other designers that I'll be working on just for fun.

Let the sewing begin!

  1. Can't wait to see what you create!! Yeah for the return of your quilt mojo!!

  2. It was great meeting you in Scottsburg-Looking forward to seeing what you have in the works!
